Coming from a small town in North Carolina and growing up in a town of about 600 people, my brother and I were taught the value of hard work from an early age. We had no problem going the extra mile for someone in need. Whether it be helping a stranger broken down on the side of the road or just taking a walk with someone because they needed someone to listen. I have done about all of it, and I don’t regret any of those experiences because they have taught me a lot in life, and they have provided me with some lifelong friends.
