Role Overview
Entry level HR assistant that believes in delivering superior customer service, has a can-do/will-do attitude, loves working in a fast paced environment and is passionate about delivering a flawless product.
Essential Duties
- Maintains personnel and benefits details via the Paycom system
- Prepares various electronic HR forms, updates/modifies HR system information
- Manages background and drug screening requests and processing
- Serves as second eyes for data entry on new hires, payroll or other HR tasks
- Emails executed agreements to employees
- Maintains specific HR processes for items such as staff agreements and I-9s
- Completes project work as assigned such as bi-weekly BBQ’s
- Orders office supplies
- Creates shipping labels (new hire, terminations, other)
- Supports all recruiting efforts as needed
- Conducts reference checks prior to hire of new staff
- Creates Birthday and Anniversary Lists for distribution via intranet
- Other duties as assigned
KSAO’s
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative HR function
- Experience supporting a HR or benefits team preferred
- Confidentiality is required due to the sensitivity of information handled
- Basic interviewing (phone or in person) skills highly desired
- MUST BE DETAIL ORIENTED, well organized and have the ability to multi-task
- SUPERIOR customer service skills, able to interact effectively with internal and external contacts
- EXCELLENT computer skills and MS Office proficiency required
- Sense of urgency, demonstrated ability to work in a high stress environment
- Personal initiative, proactive and willing to go the extra mile
- Flawless and timely follow through
- Strong written and oral communication skills, personable but direct
- Time management skills are a must
- Must be a team player, self-motivated and possess a positive attitude at all times
- Ability to use good judgment and adapt to changing
- Sense of humor, positive attitude, creative mind
Position Type: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $14-17/hr
