Mortgage Intern

Essential Duties

  • Assist with managing appraiser roster
  • Identify and assign qualified local appraiser within established time frames
  • Assist with reviewing and managing the active pipeline with LenderX network orders that require reassignment, are declined, need action taken, past due, etc.
  • Maintain workflow efficiency through LenderX network
  • Assist with maintaining communication with Appraisers and AMC’s through vendor management
  • Track cures and Net30’s and enter into Byte
  • Assist in negotiation of fees and/or turn time with appraisers when necessary
  • Manage score cards
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

KSAO’s

  • Some mortgage industry knowledge/ experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid computer skills required, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are a must
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, and possess a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Personal initiative, proactive and willing to go the extra mile
  • Able to interact effectively with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to use good judgement and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Confidentiality is required due to the sensitivity of the information handled

Position Type: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $12.50 to $15.00 per hour
