Rob Clennan – President
Rob joined Mortgage Solutions Financial in November 1996, starting in inside sales. He later advanced to loan officer, branch manager, and Vice President of Sales. During this period, he helped lead the successful transition of the company’s brand from Freedom Financial Services to Mortgage Solutions Financial.
Over his time with the company, Rob has hired, trained, and guided hundreds of loan officers. As Chief Production Officer, he helped identify and grow a number of new and emerging markets, leading the company to all-time production records, beating previous records by over 50%.
Rob earned an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He resides in Colorado Springs with his wife and two daughters.
Rachel Caple – Chief Operations Officer
Rachel Caple has more than 16 years of experience in mortgage banking industry operations. In her current role at Mortgage Solutions Financial, Rachel is responsible for oversight of operations, and works collaboratively with the sales department to ensure smooth loan delivery for all clients.
Prior to joining Mortgage Solutions Financial, Rachel served as Vice President Operations at LenderLive Network where she provided divisional oversight for the fulfillment operations team, ensuring best-in-class, cost-effective operations for market delivery. Before LenderLive, Rachel was an Operations Production Manager at Pulte Mortgage, and a Vice President of Fulfillment Operations at Titan Investments.
Throughout her career, Rachel has trained hundreds of employees to implement best practices in customer service, loan origination, processing procedures, and loan applications. Customer satisfaction is always her top priority, and she excels at leading teams to exceed all customer satisfaction goals.
Rachel is a Certified Mortgage Lender, and is licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator in 24 states. Residing in Castle Rock, Rachel spends her spare time with her husband, Sean and 4 boys. She also enjoys traveling, attending her son’s hockey games, and cheering for the LA Kings hockey team.
Jeff Trusheim – Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Trusheim comes to MSF with a comprehensive and thorough resume. Jeff lives and breathes all things financial, starting with his three-decade strong career at Arthur Andersen and Company shortly after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Houston. With his affinity for numbers, real estate and mortgages, Jeff soon went from auditor and accountant to financial advisor, risk manager and Chief Financial Officer with some of the most prestigious firms such as the Royal Bank of Canada, Prudential and Aegis. Specializing in company growth and financial development, it is no surprise that Jeff’s bank of knowledge and keen attention to detail are in high demand, and he comes highly recommended. Much like the town where he hails from (Humble, Texas), Jeff’s humility and respect for hard work and integrity are infectious. At least that’s what the hundreds of employees who have worked under Jeff have said. Jeff is a seasoned skier and is looking forward to frequenting the slopes of Colorado.
Connie Caldwell – Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel
Connie represents the professionalism and expertise that MSF prides itself on. Prior to her almost 3 year career here at MSF, she demonstrated her capability, reliability and knowledge in the area of law and compliance for 16 years. With a Bachelor and Master of Arts in History, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Connie’s passion for hard work and determination to uphold the integrity of her work has brought her invaluable opportunities throughout her career. From her position as Senior Counsel at GE Auto Warranty to Associate General Counsel at First Data, Connie has been responsible for ensuring compliance and developing new strategies. She has headed projects that achieved compliance with all 50 Secretary of State offices, taxing agencies and regulatory bodies. As Chief Administrative Officer, there is no doubt that your loans would have had Connie’s stamp of approval in some way before it reaches you. Her Six Sigma Black Belt certification ensures that all procedures implemented to improve and sustain the thorough processes of MSF are not only accurate but the most efficient, which translates to better service for our customers.
Steve Chavira – Vice President of Wholesale Lending
As Vice President of Wholesale Lending, Steve Chavira is most proud of what he calls his WHY, his amazing foundation! Steve has been married to his wife Razsan for eleven years, and together they have two precious daughters- six year old Milah & two month old Loalh Harper. To relax Steve enjoys spending time with his family, wood working, following his alma matter Texas Tech and good BBQ.
Steve’s criteria for success has always been to have a career with an organization that allows him to be part of something bigger than himself, a career with liberty and empowerment to serve others for mutual success. After nearly 10 years in the mortgage industry, he’s found that opportunity with Mortgage Solutions Financial. Prior to joining the Mortgage Solutions team, Steve spent time with Wells Fargo Financial, Countrywide Financial, Bank of America and Icon Residential Lenders. In June of 2012, Steve was named Texas Wholesale Area Sales Manager and inherited a Texas territory that had little wholesale brand recognition and no production. Over the next four years, along with his team of loyal AE’s, Steve grew the Texas territory to outstanding results. In April of 2016, Steve was promoted to the position of Eastern Division Manager of Wholesale & Correspondent and in only six months quintupled monthly production.
As the Vice President of Wholesale Lending and with the values embodied in the MSF Way Forward as his guide, Steve is grateful and humble for the opportunity to lead the Mortgage Solutions Financial Wholesale & Correspondent division toward sustainable production growth for many years to come.
Brandon Dwyer – Interim VP of Retail
Brandon brings almost 20 years of experience as a mortgage banking professional to his position with Mortgage Solutions Financial. At every stop of his career—from his first job as an originator to his current position—his focus has always been on the needs of his clients, and providing them with superior customer service.
His first introduction to the company came as a recruiter for a private employment agency. Even though he’d present each candidate with three options, 85% of the loan officers he recruited ended up taking a job with Mortgage Solutions Financial. Intrigued, he recruited himself to join our team.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Brandon’s career path has included stops in Missoula, Montana, and Portland, Oregon. He earned his degree from Humboldt University, where he also met his wife. They have two sons, and when he’s not working, he enjoys coaching and supporting youth sports in the community, playing a bit of golf and riding his motorcycle.
